Space dedicated to the study, preservation, and analysis of faunal osteological remains.

• It is home to the skeletal laboratory the IIIPC: a remarkable collection osteológica of reference consisting of more than 5000 elements corresponding to 36 species of mammals and birds, to which are added the 19 extant species in the collection ichthyology. Is constantly enriched through new additions obtained thanks to donations and collaboration agreements with other institutions.
• The laboratory will have this mode the collections of references of skeletons of animals, humans, fish, shells of molluscs, and also a large botanical collection, and tafonómica, necessary for the study of the materials of a biological recovered in archaeological contexts that allow us to reconstruct and interpret, on the one hand, the modes of life of past societies, and on the other, to identify the environmental and climatic conditions in which they lived.
