
Permanent Project Researcher
In 2008 I graduated in Geography from the University of Cantabria, after working with a research fellowship in the group of Historical Geography of the Landscape (UC) I went to the Master's degree in Planning and Sustainable Territorial Development from the Autonomous University of Madrid. I have worked in different fields such as research, consultancies, private foundations, environmental, as well as freelance writing projects on environmental impact assessment. Fields of work include the environment and nature conservation, cartography, environmental education and research. I have participated in different conferences and writing scientific articles for specialized magazines and supplement my training with hobbies such as photography or caving.
Research lines:
- Subsistence strategies and settlement patterns in societies coastal hunter-gatherer-fishers of the Middle Palaeolithic/Top and the Mesolithic.
- Archaeomalacology.
- Climatic and environmental reconstruction using sclerochronology and isotopic and elemental analysis of modern and prehistoric shells.
- Shell dating using amino acid racemization.
