Research lines:

  • Prehistoric landscapes Submerged Throughout Atlantic Europe
    Research of prehistoric submerged, focusing on the identification, mapping and analysis of ancient human settlements and cultural heritage hidden under the seabed.
  • Innovative techniques in the Archaeological Exploration Marina
    Application of advanced technologies, such as scanning acoustic seabed, remote sensing, and research diving, to improve the detection and documentation of cultural heritage submerged by the analysis of the geophysical properties of the seabed.
  • Delineation of Ancient Coast Lines
    Use of GIS applications, satellite images, geophysical information and geological to reconstruct and understand the paleo-coastlines of the Ice Age.
  • Interdisciplinary approaches to Cultural Heritage Submerged
    Exploration and integration of environmental science, the marine archaeology and geophysics to understand the cultural contexts of the prehistoric landscapes submerged dating back to the Last Ice Age.
