Degree in Archaeological Sciences (2015, Universidad La Sapienza de Roma) with thesis subject in Archeology and History of Chinese art, title «Yü, l’eternità racchiusa in una pietra» (diachronic research on the use of nephrite and jadeite in China). Master’s degree in Archeology with the oriental curriculum (2017, Universidad La Sapienza de Roma); thesis subject Japanese history and Archaeology and art history of East Asia, the title “Date Masamune, Signore di Voxu – Discorso storico e archeologico sulla vita di un Daimyō”; research on the first diplomatic contacts established between Japan and Europe (Spain and Italy) focusing on the life of the feudal lord Date Masamune and the archaeological evidence relating to his era (Azuchi-Momoyama / early Edo period).
Japanese language diploma obtained at the Sendai International School (2019).
PhD obtained at Tohoku University (2023) in Archeology with thesis title “The direction where the walls lead – Observations on the Meaning of Defensive Masonry Architecture, The Mediterranean World and the Japanese Archipelago”; Comparative studies on stone masonry (Mediterranean basin/Japan), castle architecture, research on the archetypal concept of limit/boundary through ritual and religious practices.
